Madan Mohan has more than 19 years of experience providing Cybersecurity, information security, Data Privacy and IT risk management consulting services to global organisations. He is responsible for growing and delivering technology advisory services, including Cybersecurity, Cyber & Information security consulting, Managed security services, Cyber regulatory compliances and internal audits.
Madan has extensive experience working with organisations' boards, CXO and various teams, including IT, Cybersecurity and internal audit teams. He has delivered a number of highly complex cybersecurity engagements to clients. He has served clients in various sectors, including Government Agencies & wealth funds, Government Agencies, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Telecom, Real Estate and construction, Education and Manufacturing sectors.

Roland Berger
Jawad is a Partner at Roland Berger and heads our Technology Media & Telecom (TMT) practice in the Middle East. He brings over 25 years of strategy consulting and industry experience with a primary focus on the TMT and digital space. Jawad recently moved to KSA to spearhead our Riyadh office and help accelerate Roland Berger’s regional ambition in the Middle East.
Prior to joining Roland Berger in 2019, Jawad worked in strategy consulting in the US and the UK, and then moved to the Middle East in 2010. He established and ran an international strategy consultancy firm’s Middle East practice based out of Dubai, and then took up an executive role at a UAE telecom player as the head of the Digital Business unit. He subsequently founded and ran a couple of digital start-ups before returning to management consulting.
Based on his extensive experience and deep knowledge, Jawad advises his TMT sector clients on a wide range of strategic topics, such growth strategies in adjacencies, business & operating model development, performance improvement, digital transformation, and the development and launch of new businesses & services. In addition, Jawad advises clients across sectors on digital transformation, based on his corporate and start-up experience in new digital services development and digital transformation of customer experience and channels.
Jawad graduated from Cornell University, NY with a Master’s in Engineering Management & Manufacturing (a joint program by the Johnson Business School & College of Engineering), and holds a BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a UK national but has worked extensively across Europe, Middle East & Africa and the US.

With over 20 years of executive leadership experience, Haifa has driven financial and digital transformation across private and public sectors in Oman, UAE, Kuwait, Canada, and the USA. She was part of the founding team of RSM UAE in 2000 as IT Manager and later returned to lead regional digital initiatives.
Haifa is leading RSM UAE Digital Transformation strategy, focusing on Client, People, Technology and solution pillars. Most recently, Haifa served as Senior Digital Transformation Expert at the Oman Tax Authority, where she led the modernization of tax administration through technology, process re-engineering, digital audits, and KPI-driven performance frameworks, elevating frontline service efficiency and taxpayer experience. Under her leadership, governance maturity rose from 61% to 80% in one year, earning her the Excellence in Digital Transformation Award (2025).
Significant Projects / Roles
- Directed the Oman Tax Authority’s digital transformation initiative 2024-2025, successfully modernizing core tax administration functions and elevating organizational governance maturity by 19%, setting a new benchmark for public sector efficiency.
- Led the digital transformation of the Nazdaher Program’s Strategic Investment Development pillar 2022-2024, converting 105+ opportunities into a centralized digital pipeline and facilitating the onboarding of over 400 projects, including 15 strategic Mega Projects
- Spearheaded the launch of Phase II 2022-2024 of the 'Invest in Oman' platform, significantly enhancing investment transparency, streamlining project tracking mechanisms, and driving higher investor engagement through improved digital accessibility
- Played a key role and architected the design of 'Triple 25’ model of Oman Foreign Trade Framework 2024, creating a comprehensive policy structure to benchmark Oman’s trade performance against international best practices and drive export growth.
- Spearheaded the development and design of the 2021–2025 Strategic Roadmap for Salalah Sanitary Drainage Services Co., establishing a comprehensive five-year framework to guide organizational growth and operational excellence, defining long-term objectives and modernizing the company’s operational roadmap.
- Pioneered ERP systems and enterprise-wide performance management at Oman Environmental Services (be’ah).

- Nominations for the Middle East Technology Excellence Awards will be meticulously reviewed by a panel of experts from the region's foremost accounting and audit firms, adhering to stringent judging criteria.
- Companies may submit a maximum of three (3) entries only, ensuring a focused and competitive process.
- The nomination is free of charge. Should you win, by opting for one of the winners package option below, you can secure your seats at the prestigious awards dinner and gain access to a wide range of valuable benefits. Email [email protected] for more information on pricing and inclusion.
- The deadline for submitting entries is set for 26 June 2026.
ELIGIBILITY
The awards programme is open to:

Technology companies who has pioneered ground-breaking IT products and solutions.

Companies across different industries with the most innovative technology initiatives that made an impact to their business and industry.
The technology project, solution, product, service or initiative must either be:

Launched, in part or full, over the last 24 calendar months.

Launched prior to 24 calendar months and had recent innovations or upgrades.
Note:
Companies in the following industries are not eligible to join the Awards Programme: cryptocurrency, tobacco, multilevel marketing, and products with claim of health benefits
CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
The entries will be reviewed by the judges based on the following:

Uniqueness & Innovation - Did the project introduce new or cutting-edge innovation?

Effectiveness & Impact - Did the project/solution/product/service achieve its objectives and its targets? How was its success assessed? What was the impact it made to your company and industry? If the project is a solution provided for a client, what was the overall feedback of the client?

Dynamism - Is the strategy, project, service or product flexible to changes and progressive opportunities?

1. Go to the online nomination form.
- Read the award entry guidelines and eligibility for your reference.
- Fill out the company information and entrant details fields.
- Choose the technology category and industry you'd like to enter under.
- Provide entry information:

- 500-word summary of the entry

- Upload your supporting documents and project photos to further strengthen your entry.
- Choose the winners package that you will take up, should you win an award.
2. You will then receive an email confirmation from the Middle East Technology Excellence Awards organisers after your nomination has been received.

Jawad is a Partner at Roland Berger and heads our Technology Media & Telecom (TMT) practice in the Middle East. He brings over 25 years of strategy consulting and industry experience with a primary focus on the TMT and digital space. Jawad recently moved to KSA to spearhead our Riyadh office and help accelerate Roland Berger’s regional ambition in the Middle East.
Prior to joining Roland Berger in 2019, Jawad worked in strategy consulting in the US and the UK, and then moved to the Middle East in 2010. He established and ran an international strategy consultancy firm’s Middle East practice based out of Dubai, and then took up an executive role at a UAE telecom player as the head of the Digital Business unit. He subsequently founded and ran a couple of digital start-ups before returning to management consulting.
Based on his extensive experience and deep knowledge, Jawad advises his TMT sector clients on a wide range of strategic topics, such growth strategies in adjacencies, business & operating model development, performance improvement, digital transformation, and the development and launch of new businesses & services. In addition, Jawad advises clients across sectors on digital transformation, based on his corporate and start-up experience in new digital services development and digital transformation of customer experience and channels.
Jawad graduated from Cornell University, NY with a Master’s in Engineering Management & Manufacturing (a joint program by the Johnson Business School & College of Engineering), and holds a BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Led the digital transformation of the Nazdaher Program’s Strategic Investment Development pillar 2022-2024, converting 105+ opportunities into a centralized digital pipeline and facilitating the onboarding of over 400 projects, including 15 strategic Mega Projects
- Spearheaded the launch of Phase II 2022-2024 of the 'Invest in Oman' platform, significantly enhancing investment transparency, streamlining project tracking mechanisms, and driving higher investor engagement through improved digital accessibility

How do I nominate?
You can send an entry via the online nomination form, where you have to fill in details about your company and the technology project or solution that you wish to enter for the awards programme. You will also be required to submit a 500-word write up summarising your entry, and highlighting why it should win an award.
How many winners per category?
The awards will be given on a country-level basis as part of the umbrella Technology Excellence Awards programme with separate local runs in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and the Asia Pacific Region. There will be one winner per tech category and its corresponding industry for each country.
