Outstanding broadcasting leaders and media innovators recognised at Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2026
The awards programme honoured trailblazers redefining broadcasting and media excellence across the region and beyond.
As the Asia-Pacific broadcasting landscape evolves at pace, industry players are accelerating the adoption of next-generation technologies to drive large-scale transformation. Digitalisation and the shift toward IP-based infrastructures have become central to sustaining resilience and competitiveness in a market characterised by continuous disruption. In parallel, broadcasters are prioritising digital-first strategies that support more audience-centric and interactive experiences.
Alongside this technological transition, there is a growing emphasis on specialised content and more sophisticated storytelling techniques. These developments reflect a broader strategic push to engage increasingly diverse and fragmented audiences with greater precision, relevance, and impact.
This year’s winners underscore how traditional broadcasting models are evolving into more intelligent, immersive, and interactive media ecosystems.
The winning projects were carefully assessed by a distinguished panel of experts, including Robert Harriss, Partner and Asia Pacific Lead for Procurement at Kearney; Aseem Sharma, Partner at KPMG Singapore and Head of the Telecom sector for KPMG Asia Pacific; Wilson Chow, Global Technology, Media and Telecommunications Industry Leader and China Artificial Intelligence Leader at PwC China; and Ahmad Ridhwan Azizan, Principal at Roland Berger.
Their evaluation placed strong emphasis on the key criteria of innovation, impact, and the dynamism demonstrated by each winning entry.
