Eurovision Services secures wins at Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2026
The organisation expanded its hybrid distribution architecture and Content HUB to deliver live feeds across markets.
Eurovision Services won accolades in the Digital Broadcasting - Singapore and Internet Delivery Network - Singapore categories at the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2026 for its hybrid distribution infrastructure and Content HUB expansion across Asia-Pacific.
Hybrid distribution for global sporting events
Eurovision Services integrated satellite, fibre, managed IP, and internet-based delivery into one transmission model for live sports content. The system was used for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations and the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games, where more than 800 hours of live content were distributed to over 65 broadcasters in 51 countries. Its cumulative global audience reached 1.2 billion. Content was delivered in several production languages and made available through broadcast networks and digital platforms.
Broadcasters received feeds through the delivery method that matched their technical set-up. Satellite provided regional coverage, whilst dedicated fibre handled high-capacity transmission. Managed IP connected with existing broadcast workflows, and SRT supported internet-based delivery for broadcasters using public networks. This gave broadcasters with different infrastructure levels a way to receive live sports feeds without reworking their systems.
Content HUB expansion across Asia-Pacific
The Content HUB was expanded as a centralised live media distribution platform with six global points of presence. Across Asia-Pacific, it connected 39 broadcasters in more than 15 territories, including streaming platforms, pay-TV operators, free-to-air networks, and sports-focused services. The platform also supports over 80 broadcasters worldwide and more than 15 production partners.
Feeds are transmitted through two independent network paths using SMPTE ST 2022-7, which allows delivery to continue when one path is disrupted. An API-integrated orchestration system manages the workflow from booking to delivery. Manual intervention is reduced within the transmission chain.
Connection options include direct colocation access, private fibre networks, and internet-based delivery through geo-redundant paths. Broadcasters can receive live content through a single distribution framework, regardless of whether they operate dedicated infrastructure or rely on internet connectivity. The Content HUB is also being used as an aggregation platform, allowing rights holders to send content once for validation, rights management, and distribution to entitled broadcasters under service-level agreements.
