Ideal Systems Group earns honours at Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2026
The group designed an accessible multimedia production studio and built a next-gen digital television newsroom system.
Ideal Systems Group secured recognition at the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2026 under the categories of Production Technology - Singapore and Digital News Delivery - India. These awards reflect two projects focused on video production and newsroom delivery.
Campus-wide multimedia production studio for multi-discipline content creation
At the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) Punggol Campus, Ideal Systems Group developed an NDI-based multicamera recording studio located within the central library. The facility was made accessible to approximately 12,000 students and 1,200 staff, extending use beyond media-focused programmes to disciplines such as engineering, accountancy, and health sciences.
The studio supports podcasting, live streaming, remote interviews, and chroma-set green screen production within a unified NDI IP-based setup. Core systems included the Vizrt TriCaster TC1 Pro, Panasonic IP PTZ and broadcast cameras, Kiloview NDI converters, and a Yamaha DM-3 digital audio mixer. Native integration with Microsoft Teams and Zoom enabled remote participation in live productions. Automation reduced the level of technical operation required, allowing first-time users to produce content with minimal setup.
AI-enhanced integrated television newsroom system for multi-platform content delivery
In New Delhi, Ideal Systems Group delivered a broadcast newsroom facility for Collective Newsroom, combining television, radio, and digital production workflows in a single location. The installation was built around the NxtEdition Integrated Newsroom System, connecting 90 journalist workstations through a story-centric workflow.
Scripts, video, graphics, and cues were managed within a single Artificial Intelligence-assisted system, allowing AI Agents with intuitive production tools to assist content production once to be adapted across multiple platforms, including broadcast, web, and social media.
The facility included two studios configured for different production requirements, alongside a Central Engineering Room equipped with routing, signal processing, and audio networking systems based on IP infrastructure. Additional spaces included radio control rooms, editing suites, and a social media control room to support real-time content output. Automation functions enabled production teams to execute live sequences such as camera switching, playback, and graphics through single commands, supporting daily operations across multiple formats and languages.
