Juris Technologies lands two wins at Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2026
Juris Origination was recognised for AI-powered lending, whilst Juris Collect was recognised for intelligent automation in debt recovery.
Lending and recovery software solutions provider Juris Technologies brought home two wins at the Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2026, with Juris Origination winning the Fintech - Banking category and Juris Collect winning the Enterprise Software - Financial Technology category.
The wins recognise JurisTech’s work in helping financial institutions modernise critical parts of the credit lifecycle, from digital loan origination to intelligent collections and recovery, through AI-powered automation, decision intelligence, and enterprise-grade software.
Juris Origination, JurisTech’s loan origination system, has maintained rigorous institutional standards whilst delivering the near-instant digital experiences that modern customers demand.
Its core innovation is the seamless integration of JurisTech’s proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) platform, Juris MindCraft, directly into the origination workflow. Unlike platforms that rely on third-party plugins, it uses native ML for real-time behavioural scoring, allowing financial institutions to look beyond static credit bureau data, support more personalised approvals, and expand financial inclusion.
This AI-powered approach has successfully reduced manual processing time by over 60% by automating repetitive tasks and incorporating real-time alerts.
The system uses an intuitive drag-and-drop graphical user interface that allows non-technical teams to design and roll out new products without heavy coding. This modular framework empowers banks to launch new products, from retail mortgages to SME financing, with greater speed and control.
At the same time, Juris Origination features a native Shariah-compliant engine with fully automated Tawarruq workflows, ensuring Islamic banking operations are friction-free. Pre-configured with Bank Negara Malaysia regulatory frameworks, it helps automate compliance from the point of application.
Juris Collect, JurisTech’s enterprise debt-collection platform, was recognised for its role in humanising debt recovery through intelligent automation. The platform brings together data, AI, workflow automation, and customer-centric engagement tools to help financial institutions improve recovery outcomes whilst supporting a more structured and efficient collections process.
One example is its AI-enabled self-curing capability for early-stage retail loan collections, developed with Juris MindCraft. The system identifies accounts likely to self-cure, meaning borrowers who are likely to pay in full without collection calls. This helps collection teams reduce unnecessary outreach and focus their efforts on higher-risk accounts.
In a deployment for a leading Malaysian bank, the solution processed more than 66,000 accounts per month with over 80% prediction accuracy, a performance level maintained since 2018. This helped reduce wasted calls, improve operational productivity, and enhance cost-to-collect efficiency.
“These wins reflect our commitment to building enterprise-grade lending and recovery solutions that are robust, locally compliant, and practical for financial institutions,” the company said. “Juris Origination and Juris Collect both represent our focus on helping financial institutions modernise the credit lifecycle, from application to recovery.”
