UOB Malaysia’s digital banking platform recognised at the Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2025

UOB TMRW mobile application drives the future of digital banking through innovation and customer-centricity.

UOB Malaysia’s digital banking platform, UOB TMRW, recently took top honours at the Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2025 in the App - Banking category for its innovative features and outstanding customer experience which redefines digital banking.

These insights help customers make informed financial decisions whilst allowing them to track their spending. Additionally, customers will also get to unlock exclusive deals and rewards, as well as perform end-to-end digital account opening—all in one app. 

The enhanced UOB TMRW app provides convenient and intuitive features, ensuring a seamless experience for users. The platform uses real-time alerts and automatic payment reminders that assist users to avoid missing important transactions, adding extra value beyond traditional banking. The app’s ability to support customers’ banking needs securely has contributed to a strong 15% year-on-year growth in mobile banking users in 2024.

The win also underscores the strong cross-collaboration between the business and technology teams at UOB Malaysia, which helped drive the app’s evolution.
