Keysight Technologies recognised for excellence in the Automotive industry at Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards

The leading technology company continues to deliver advanced design and validation solutions including a new multi-target radar simulator that helps accelerate ADAS development tasks.

Keysight Technologies wins under the Hardware – Automotive category at the Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2022.

The Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards recognise exceptional companies who are riding the disruption wave and are leading the technological revolution their respective industries to boost Malaysia’s fast-growing economy.

Keysight delivers advanced design and validation solutions that accelerate innovation to connect and secure the world. Keysight’s solutions bring customers to market faster across the development lifecycle, in design simulation, prototype validation, automated software testing, manufacturing analysis and network performance optimisation and visibility in enterprise, service provider and cloud environments. Keysight customers span the worldwide automotive, communications and industrial ecosystems, aerospace and defence, energy, semiconductor and general electronics markets.

The fully autonomous vehicles of the not-so-distant future promise gains in automotive safety and transportation efficiency. But to fulfil this promise, automotive OEMs need to move beyond contemporary levels of vehicle autonomy.

Almost all vehicle accidents are caused by human mistakes, which can be avoided with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). With the increasing demand for ADAS systems due to regulatory and safety awareness, testing ADAS functions on the road for all vehicles can be time-consuming and dangerous when emulating extreme test conditions - for instance, when testing the automated emergency braking system.

To accelerate innovation to connect and secure the world, Keysight launched a new Radar Target Simulator (RTS) E8718A that will enable the development of high-quality products and improve safety in modern and autonomous vehicles. Whilst automotive radar is the key technology for ADAS and autonomous vehicles, Keysight RTS plays an important role to address automotive radar sensor test challenges, bringing the road test into the lab with a minimal footprint. Keysight E8718A RTS design also improves usability in different stages of the customer’s design lifecycle, from the early design validation phase to mass production.

Keysight is proud of its rich and proven expertise in test and measurement and for various technology innovations like the Radar Target Simulator. Keysight’s continuous contributions to the automotive industry bring safer and efficient transportation with fewer fatal accidents and less time wasted in traffic.
