Worldwide Holdings Berhad secures two wins at Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2026
The organisation deployed a dashboard to boost oversight and a platform to streamline land administration workflows.
Worldwide Holdings Berhad won in the Analytics - Conglomerates and Digital - Conglomerates categories at the Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2026 following the rollout of a group-wide analytics dashboard and the REALMS e-Tanah digital platform.
Analytics transforming enterprise reporting
As a diversified group with four core sectors spanning energy, environmental management, property and medical, Worldwide Holdings Berhad (WHB) recognises the importance of strengthening its digital capabilities.
In line with global trends and the accelerating pace of technological evolution, and as part of its continued transformation, the WHB Group is placing strong emphasis on AI, digitalisation, and data-driven operations. This shift is not just about adopting tools, but about refining how the organisation operates, making decisions and delivering value across all sectors.
WHB Head of Group Digitalisation & Business Improvement, Ts. Mohd Ameen Yahaya, said the key step forward is the introduction of a centralised analytics-driven infrastructure powered by business intelligence, data warehousing, and automation tools, designed to replace traditional manual standard operating procedures (SOPs) and reporting practices.
He added that, traditionally, reports were developed in silos, requiring extensive efforts to extract, clean and reconcile datasets and thus, often taking between two to five working days to complete. This limited the organisation’s ability to respond quickly to commercial and operational developments.
By standardising data ingestion and transformation through Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes, WHB is establishing a consistent and reliable data foundation across the Group. Building on this foundation, a series of analytics-driven dashboards has been introduced to address specific operational needs. The Medical Analysis Dashboard enables HR teams to gain deeper insights into medical claims patterns and emerging illness trends, supporting more informed and proactive workforce management. In the medical device segment, the Medivest sales dashboard enhances visibility into sales performance and product contribution, enabling stronger commercial insights.
Analytics is also enhancing operational insight across other sectors. Dedicated dashboards now support landfill operations monitoring and flood disaster assistance tracking, equipping teams with timely, data-driven insights to respond more effectively on the ground.
Together, these initiatives mark a significant shift from fragmented manual reporting practices to a more integrated, efficient, and insight-driven approach. More importantly, data is now emerging as a strategic asset to drive performance across WHB.
With these dashboards in place, data is now integrated, automated and visualised in real-time, enabling faster insights, improved accuracy and better decision making across the Group.
REALMS digitising land title management
Worldwide Holdings Berhad (WHB) continues to strengthen its position as a developer of choice in the Klang Valley, with digital innovation playing an increasingly important role in enhancing its property operations.
The introduction of the Real Estate Application Live Management System (REALMS) demonstrates a significant step forward in transforming how land titles and property processes are managed. Ts. Mohd Ameen Yahaya explained that integrating REALMS with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system through automated APIs, REALMS seamlessly synchronises purchaser and sales data across key milestones, from Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) stamping to loan approvals and cancellations, creating a more connected and efficient workflow.
Concurrently, the use of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology enables scanned land title documents to be converted into structured digital records, significantly reducing manual data entry whilst accelerating verification processes.
Beyond system integration, REALMS has delivered tangible operational improvements. It has translated into meaningful value not only for WHB's property operations, but also for its purchasers. With faster turnaround times, improved data reliability, and more efficient processes, customers benefit from a smoother and more transparent experience throughout their property journey.
Today, REALMS supports thousands of digitised records across multiple development projects. At its core, it strengthens WHB's ability to manage its property portfolio with greater efficiency and responsiveness.
Together, these advancements reflect WHB's broader commitment to digitalisation, where technology is not just enhancing internal processes but also elevating the overall experience for stakeholders and customers alike.
