BRI Life wins Asian Experience Awards 2024 for mudik protection initiative

Life insurance company BRI Life took home the win in the Indonesia Customer Experience of the Year - Life Insurance category at the acclaimed Asian Experience Awards 2024 for its innovative Mudik Protection Initiative that has been driven by the company’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of travellers.

The main objective of the initiative is to provide Personal Accident Insurance to enhance the synergy value of Bank BRI, BRI Life's parent company, whilst offering peace and comfort. The targets have been achieved by issuing insurance policies to travellers and bus crews, ensuring they are well-protected throughout the trip

BRI Life has identified and understood the needs of stakeholders thorough analysis of the challenges faced during long-distance travel. The need for health and accident protection has emerged as a primary concern, prompting the insurer to tailor its insurance offerings to address these specific requirements.

It has creatively implemented the mudik protection initiative through the provision of Personal Accident Double Care policies, covering 3,500 travelers and 225 bus drivers and crew members participating in the programme.

The company’s Mudik Protection Initiative has underscored the importance of its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR). By prioritising customer well-being over profit, BRI Life has demonstrated that sustainable corporate life encompasses economic, social, and environmental aspects.
