SuiteWorld 2024: NetSuite to add India to its global data centre footprint

It plans to establish a data centre in Hyderabad in 2025.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — NetSuite will officially establish a physical presence in India in 2025, with plans to build a data centre in Hyderabad.

NetSuite Founder Evan Goldberg announced this on the first day of SuiteWorld 2024, which was held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

India will be the third location in Asia where NetSuite has built a data centre, following Tokyo and Osaka.

In addition to India, the company plans to enter the Brazilian market.

With the addition of India and Brazil, NetSuite's total number of data centres will rise to 36.

"We're following where our customers are. We've had great success with new customers in India and Brazil, so these are the next two markets we’re expanding into," Goldberg told the media in a press briefing.

In the same event, NetSuite also officially rolled out its new design system, developed by Oracle’s User Experience (UX) team, known as Redwood.

Speaking about the new UX, Hillel Cooperman, Oracle’s Senior Vice President of UX Design, said his team aimed to make the software more “adaptable and intuitive for users.”
