MUFG Bank appoints new head of project finance for Asia

David Uy first joined MUFG in 2018.

MUFG Bank has appointed David Uy as head of project finance for Asia, effective 1 July. He will be based in Singapore.

Uy will be responsible for enhancing MUFG’s reputation as the region’s premier project finance house as well as building out its portfolio spanning infrastructure, natural resources, power, and especially renewable energy sectors across key markets in the region excluding Japan and Oceania, according to a press release.

Uy joined MUFG in 2018. He will report to Tatsuya Konishi, Head of Investment Banking for Asia Pacific (AIBD).
