
Oracle broadens database services across Asia-Pacific
It also expanded the services’ capabilities.
LAS VEGAS — Oracle has extended the availability of Database@Azure and Database@Google Cloud to more parts of the Asia-Pacific region.
At Oracle AI World 2025 in Las Vegas, the company announced that Database@Google Cloud, running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), is now available in Melbourne, Australia.
Over the next 12 months, Oracle plans to expand the service to Sydney, Osaka, Mumbai, and Delhi, broadening access to its enterprise-grade database capabilities across the region.
Oracle also said it has enhanced Database@Google Cloud with new embedded AI features.
Oracle also added new features to Database@Azure and made the service is available in 28 regions, including Australia, India, Japan, and Southeast Asia.
