Unifi brings home win at Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2026

Its digital channels now contribute 57%+ of total revenue following the shift from campaign-led messaging to always-on, intent-driven engagement.

Integrated telecommunications company Unifi emerged as the winner of the Automation - Broadband Telecommunication category at the Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2026 following the success of its premier converged brand, Unifi, in reshaping its digital growth model by moving from campaign-led execution to always-on, intent-driven engagement.

In this initiative, Unifi has teamed up with marketing technology firm Netcore to implement a unified customer intelligence layer powered by a customer data platform, bringing together behavioural signals, eligibility data, and product ownership into a single, actionable view.

Static targeting has been replaced with dynamic, eligibility-aware segmentation, whilst always-on omnichannel journey orchestration has enabled real-time engagement across email, app push, web push, in-app nudges, and on-site personalisation. The architecture is inherently adaptive, as journeys dynamically respond to live micro-moments and ensure contextual engagement without manual effort.

This has resulted in a shift of engagement from scheduled campaigns to micro-moment responsiveness. It has also seen a 20% growth in add-on subscriptions, with digital channels now contributing over 57% of total revenue. Funnel completion has also improved across add-on journeys, and engagement efficiency has increased through automation.

“The platform supports ongoing optimisation and expansion, including adoption of advanced agentic marketing modules for insights, segmentation, and content experimentation, ensuring Unifi remains future-ready in an evolving broadband ecosystem," the company highlighted.
