McDermott earns Excellence Award - Oil & Gas at Malaysia International Business Awards 2026

McDermott was honoured with the Excellence Award - Oil & Gas at the Malaysia International Business Awards 2026, which recognises the company’s Subsea and Floating Facilities business line as a key player in the global offshore energy industry. 

The company, a leading engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contractor, supports complex offshore and deepwater oil and gas projects in multiple regions through an integrated delivery model.
At the centre of this global execution network is McDermott’s Subsea and Floating Facilities Kuala Lumpur hub, which delivers engineering, project management, and operational resources for offshore developments around the world. 

From this strategic base, the business line manages large-scale projects that include engineering design, procurement of materials, fabrication of offshore structures, marine transportation, installation, and commissioning. This strategy led the company to expand its presence from Australasia to the Americas, Africa, and the Mediterranean, directly supporting energy infrastructure development across the global south.
