VUS - The English Center wins dual honours at Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2025

The company earned two prestigious awards for its mobile and software innovations in English education.

VUS - The English Center was hailed with the Vietnam Technology Excellence Award for Mobile - Education and Software - Education in the Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2025.

The recognition highlights two of the company’s recent digital learning solutions: the OVI Students and Parents Apps Ecosystem and OVI IELTS. Both were developed to enhance the way Vietnamese learners study English and connect with their educators.

Designed for children, teenagers, and parents, the OVI Students and Parents Apps Ecosystem provides tailored cross-platform solutions that support VUS learners and families at every stage of their educational journey. OVI Kids introduces learners to a game-based Cloud Kingdom where they build foundational skills, whilst OVI Teens balances emotional and cognitive growth through weekly missions and leaderboards. Alongside these, the OVI Parents app gives families real-time visibility into student progress. Together, the OVI ecosystem empowers learners nationwide, strengthening learning outcomes and bridging home-school connections.

Meanwhile, OVI IELTS is an all-in-one platform for test preparation, offering personalised vocabulary training, AI-powered feedback, and full computer-based simulations. It addresses common concerns amongst IELTS candidates such as unclear learning paths, lack of feedback, and test anxiety. Learners receive structured guidance, instant assessment, and motivational features designed to build both competence and confidence.

Since their launch, the OVI apps have achieved strong adoption and engagement. OVI Kids users spend nearly 49 minutes weekly on the platform, whilst the OVI Parents app is actively used by the majority of families. OVI IELTS supported over 1,500 learners in its pilot phase, maintaining high engagement and completion rates. Also, OVI has welcomed over 1,000 new trial users monthly, providing free access to trial games and activities that showcase its interactive design. This feature has not only benefited VUS's current students but also opened opportunities for a wider community of young English learners in Vietnam.
