TPLUS DIGITAL COMPANY LIMITED recognised at Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2025

The company's digital lifestyle brand expands entertainment in Laos.

TPLUS DIGITAL COMPANY LIMITED was lauded with the Laos Technology Excellence Award for Digital - Telecommunications in the Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2025. The recognition highlights the company’s efforts in developing its TPLUS Digital Brand Lifestyle, which integrates global entertainment platforms, sports, and financial services into a unified digital ecosystem for Laotian consumers.

The project focuses on bringing international entertainment directly to the local market by partnering with global brands and franchises. Collaborations include football club Borussia Dortmund, Universal Pictures’ Minions and The Rise of Gru, and Moonton’s Mobile Legends. Locally, as part of LTC Group, TPLUS DIGITAL COMPANY LIMITED worked with JAS and MONOMAX to broadcast licensed Premier League content, making world-class entertainment more accessible to the Laotian audience.

To support these partnerships, TPLUS DIGITAL COMPANY LIMITED introduced co-branded SIM cards and promotional activities, enabling consumers to enjoy exclusive content and offers. For instance, the Borussia Dortmund collaboration featured a loyalty programme and a CSR initiative that sent Lao children to train at the BVB academy in Germany. Universal’s Minions collaboration brought themed SIM cards and fan events, whilst the Mobile Legends partnership included co-branded SIM cards and in-game promotions that supported national esports players.

Another core feature of the project is the integration of mobile balance payment capabilities. This allows users to make payments directly through their mobile phone credit, reducing reliance on traditional banking or e-wallets and improving accessibility for a wider segment of the population. Tailored data packages were also designed to ensure seamless access to licensed content and entertainment services.

The Asian Technology Excellence Awards celebrates the most outstanding technological innovations and achievements across Asia, recognising organisations that leverage emerging technologies to drive business value, strengthen customer experiences, and transform industries.
