Lenovo lauded at Middle East Technology Excellence Awards 2025 for AI-powered manufacturing solutions

It has developed unparalleled AI-powered technologies that address today's complex manufacturing challenges.

Lenovo, the global technology powerhouse, brought home the prestigious Middle East Technology Excellence Awards 2025 in the AI - Manufacturing category for successfully developing comprehensive, end-to-end manufacturing solutions that span supply chain, shop floor, and warehouse operations.

Lenovo’s solutions highlight a fully integrated approach to modernising supply chain and warehouse operations through automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and robotics. Its real-time asset tracking and robotic inspection systems capabilities enable precise monitoring of objects and infrastructure, whilst Pick Assist AMRs and Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems streamline order fulfilment and pallet movement with high accuracy and efficiency.

It also offers a Warehouse Execution System that coordinates and optimises these automated processes across multiple platforms. Lenovo’s Industrial Computer Vision further enhances quality control by detecting and measuring equipment, processes, and environmental conditions.

At the supply chain level, its Supply Chain Intelligence solution provides a centralised hub that leverages AI and analytics to improve visibility, cut costs, and boost revenue. Additionally, the Lenovo ESG Navigator supports environmental governance by automating massive-scale data processing and KPI reporting across more than 250,000 data points.

The implementation of these solutions has enabled customers in logistic services and retail sectors to ensure smooth goods flow across their network with timely delivery, including a 40% faster order processing, a 30% reduction in energy consumption, and a 30% improvement in efficiency and productivity.

The company’s collaborative approach, which has been vital to the success of these solutions, follows four distinct stages — identifying customer vision, key strategies, and current challenges; providing specific proposals with prioritisation, project scope, and solution roadmaps; deploying proof of concept implementations with customers; and rolling out full-scale implementations based on proven results and learnings.

“Lenovo empowers manufacturers to achieve operational excellence, enhanced productivity, and sustainable growth — transforming manufacturing operations and accelerating the industry's journey toward Industry 5.0,” said Andy Zheng, GM of Lenovo Manufacturing Solutions.

Middle East Technology Excellence Awards 2025 honours the remarkable achievements of both homegrown and international firms in shaping the Middle East’s evolving technological landscape, acknowledging their innovations, strategic growth, and contributions to economic and community development.
