channels by stc, the sales and distribution arm of telecom company stc Group, was honoured with the AI - Telecommunications accolade at the esteemed Middle East Technology Excellence Awards 2025 for its AI Acceleration Programme that has united previously siloed efforts into a cohesive, enterprise-wide transformation that touches every part of the business.

The AI Acceleration Program is transforming business operations by enhancing both internal and customer-facing applications, introducing personalised interfaces and recommendations. It also features automation bots that manage approvals, data entry, and incident routing; a central analytics engine that transforms live data into proactive insights; and an autopilot agent that manages the company’s LMD.

At the same time, it streamlines development lifecycle by automatically generating requirements from high-level ideas using internal standards, creating test cases directly from documentation and application programming interfaces (API) with full traceability and automation, and assisting developers with smart code suggestions and best practices to reduce bugs and speed up delivery.

Through the programme, many business functions now require fewer hands-on staff and some departments have absorbed higher workloads without increasing headcount. The company’s AI capabilities are also integrated across departments, and its APIs plug into existing workflows without major disruption. It also eliminates manual bottlenecks that free up staff time to focus on innovation and strategic work.
