Smart hospital beds market’s CAGR to grow 14% from 2022 to 2030

Its revenue is seen to reach US$1.49b by 2030.

The global smart hospital beds markets’ revenue will be worth US$0.52b in 2022 and is forecasted to increase to $1.49b by 2030, Insight Partners said in a report.

The CAGR, meanwhile, will increase 14% during 2022 to 2030. 

“The global smart hospital beds market growth is driven by increasing prevalence of chronic diseases, the rising number of life-saving surgeries, and intensifying frequency as well as the duration of hospital stays,” read the report.

The frequency and length of hospital stays have been increasing driven by incidence of chronic diseases and the number of life-saving procedures. The COVID-19 outbreak has increased the need to adopt smart beds in hospitals around the world.

Among the restraints are cybersecurity risks and recalls linked to smart hospital beds whilst opportunities include robotic hospital beds.
