Viventis Search Asia, Inc.’s Executive Director, Yu Ming Chin, was honoured with the Philippines Executive of the Year - Human Resources Consulting accolade at the Asian Management Excellence for his visionary leadership and transformative contributions in spearheading the company’s human capital solutions.

Yu Ming Chin’s leadership has been pivotal in driving Viventis Search Asia Inc.’s success. For over two decades, the company has been a leader in providing human capital solutions dedicated to career creation and people and career development across the Philippines and the Asia Pacific region. One of his key initiatives is a series of events showcasing best practices in human capital that fostered connections, strengthened relationships, and promoted a positive workplace.

One of his most impactful initiatives is the annual CHRO Agenda, bringing together HR leaders and executives to explore workforce-shaping trends in the industry. This year’s event, themed “The Human Edge in the Age of AI,” gathered 100 HR leaders and C-suite executives to discuss the irreplaceable value of the human element in the workplace amidst an increasingly AI-driven world.

Another standout initiative was the Viventis Career Accelerator Program (VCAP), designed to help future professionals start their careers as Viventis Career Consultants. The programme offers a blend of comprehensive training, mentorship, and practical experience, providing participants with the skills and confidence to excel in the industry.

This year’s VCAP graduates saw remarkable improvement, with their performance rising from 12% in Q2 to 63% in Q3, mirroring the success of last year’s pioneers. Under Yu Ming Chin’s direct guidance throughout their training, these professionals have transformed into adept talent scouts, earning consistent recognition as Century Sprinters for their stellar performance.

These initiatives, coupled with his forward-thinking vision and commitment to empowering talent, underscore Yu Ming Chin's exceptional leadership and dedication to shaping future leaders and driving the future of the human capital industry.

The company has also actively participated in key industry events hosted by PMAP, PSTD, and AHMOPI. Most recently, Yu Ming Chin and the Viventis leadership team collaborated with PEZA to present a seminar, offering valuable insights on investment strategies and labour dynamics in the Philippines.

Yu Ming Chin’s influence extends beyond the organisation, as he has become a sought-after speaker at numerous events. A notable highlight was when he moderated the Marketing Wars 6.0 and Beyond event, hosted by the Philippine Marketing Association. There, he led discussions on the future of business leadership, highlighting the role of the next generation of leaders, or “Jedi Masters,” in navigating technology’s evolving impact on business whilst sharing his expert insights.
