Inaugural ESGBusiness Awards opens nominations for outstanding ESG efforts

Winners will get to be featured in ESG Business' digital magazine and will be recognised in an awarding ceremony in November.

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations have gained significant importance in recent years as consumers and investors seek companies that align with their values. It has become a crucial aspect of corporate strategy, enabling organisations to contribute positively to society whilst pursuing financial success.

In recognition of companies that have successfully integrated ESG principles into their operations to foster long-term value creation, ESGBusiness Awards has opened nominations for its inaugural year.

The awards programme aims to recognise commendable efforts and dedication of businesses and organisations in making a positive impact on society through ESG-related efforts.

Nominations are open to Asian businesses and corporations, government agencies, public institutions, startups, social enterprises, and non-profit organisations, amongst others, that have launched ESG initiatives in the past two years. The awards programme is also accepting entries for newly launched initiatives as long as they have already made a measurable impact or have the potential to do so in the near future.

Awards in different categories will be given for each country, with the following ESG areas:

  • Health and Wellness Awards
  • Affordable and Sustainable Energy Awards
  • Job Creation and Economic Resilience Awards
  • Infrastructure and Innovation Awards
  • Equality and Inclusion Awards
  • Sustainable Cities and Communities Awards
  • Zero Waste and Efficient Resource Utilisation Awards
  • Climate Action Awards
  • Marine Conservation Awards
  • Land Conservation Award
  • Peace and Justice Promotion Award
  • Partnerships for Sustainable Development Award
  • Initiative Award
  • Excellence Award

Meanwhile, the Net-zero regional Award will be given per industry.

A panel of esteemed industry experts will evaluate this year’s entries. Winners will be honoured at an awards dinner, where they may network with clients, colleagues, and fellow winners from across the region.

If you are looking to elevate your company’s standing as a prominent industry leader in sustainability and responsible business practices in Asia, nominate it now through this nomination form. Entries will be accepted until 15 September 2023.
