Asian Business Review opens nominations for the Middle East Technology Excellence Awards and International Business Awards

Entries will be accepted until 03 July 2022.

As the world moves toward the new normal, companies are expected to deliver innovative and valuable solutions in order to provide for their stakeholders. Businesses in the Middle East are not exempted from this pressure, face a variety of challenges as they strive to grow amidst the competitive environment whilst serving consumers.

To recognise companies that have pushed their limits and exceeded expectations in the Middle East, the Asian Business Review is proud to bring back the Middle East Technology Excellence Awards and Middle East International Business Awards.

Following the success of their inauguration in the region last year, the Middle East Technology Excellence Awards honours enterprises that have significantly contributed to technology innovation in their respective industries. Meanwhile, the Middle East International Business Awards—open to companies in all industries with global headquarters located outside of the Middle East—lauds global companies that have found a solid foothold in the region.

“The team have worked tirelessly over the last 18 to 24 months to bring this to reality. I know a lot of that is long hours, weekends, and evenings. And it's difficult. It really can be tough. Having an award like this that recognises that effort means the world not just to me, but for those guys as well and I want to take this moment to recognise the entire DCT technology department and our partners who helped us along this journey,” said Peter Jamieson, Director of Technology, at Department of Culture and Tourism.

The department won the Cloud - Non-profit Or Government Organizations Category at the Middle East Technology Excellence Awards for its digital transformation initiative making them the first government agency in the United Arab Emirates to use cloud data centres.

Nomination is free of charge and will open on 28 March 2022. The deadline for submission of entries is on 03 July 2022. Entries will be judged by an elite panel of judges and will be honoured in August 2022.
