
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga wins Asian Experience Awards 2025 for improved app
The new MyPertamina app continues to enhance and develop a more integrated digital experience for its users.
Oil & gas, and energy company PT Pertamina Patra Niaga emerged victorious at the esteemed Asian Experience Awards 2025 with the Indonesia Digital Experience of the Year - Oil & Gas accolade for its enhanced MyPertamina app that redefined the customer journey at Pertamina fuel stations and supported Indonesia’s cashless and energy-resilient future.
The improved MyPertamina app lets users find nearby stations, pay digitally, earn and claim loyalty rewards, and even plan trips or order fuel delivery from a single platform. It also offers enhanced electric vehicle (EV) charging support and real-time service updates.
Beyond the app, MyPertamina’s loyalty programme lets customers receive benefits from every transaction. Each purchase earns redeemable points, advances membership status, and unlocks additional rewards not only for the driver but also for the entire family. This programme increases the long-term value of regular transactions, as reflected by a 36% rise in the number of unique users who have earned and redeemed points.
Integrated into more than 6,800 fuel stations across the country, the new MyPertamina app has established a strong nationwide commitment. With 27.4 million downloads and 2.4 million monthly active users, it has processed 8.8 million transactions and has generated a gross monetary value of IDR1.8t.
Moreover, the app now provides additional features such as access to hotel and airline services, creating a seamless digital ecosystem for travellers and addressing various needs beyond refuelling.
With a user-friendly interface that performs well even in low-connectivity areas, customer satisfaction continues to rise from 4.22 in 2023 to 4.29 in 2024, and satisfaction with both the loyalty programme and the app has grown consecutively.
“This initiative aligns with Indonesia’s digital transformation roadmap and Pertamina’s energy transition mission, promoting innovation in payment, mobility, and sustainability services,” the company said.
