UDA receives Team of the Year - Real Estate at Malaysia Management Excellence Awards

It has strengthened its employee engagement through the launch of various activities and growth opportunities.

Property company UDA Holdings Berhad (UDA) was recognised by the Malaysia Management Excellence Awards as the recipient of the Team of the Year - Real Estate category win for its attainment of a high employee engagement rating, which the company deems has profoundly impacted its success.

For them, a high employee engagement means that its workforce is more than just satisfied; they are motivated and fully invested in their roles. The employees feel a strong sense of belonging, which results in their dedication and willingness to go the extra mile.

UDA believes that the key factors contributing to this achievement are open communication, a culture of recognition and appreciation, opportunities for growth and development, and a strong sense of purpose within the company.

At the same time, it has provided benefits such as welfare association, religious association, welfare initiatives, UDA sponsorship policies, and staff welfare. It has also implemented measures such as flexible working hours, work from home arrangements, and work-life integration activities.

The company has also spearheaded initiatives in a career management for executive and non-executive advancement, a succession management for leadership development and critical management, performance culture, and leadership roles.

“This accomplishment is a testament to our organisation's dedication to employee well-being, and we are excited to continue this journey of growth and success together. We are incredibly proud of our team's commitment and look forward to further accomplishments in the future,” the company said.

The Malaysia Management Excellence Awards honours the country's most outstanding leaders, innovators and teams whose initiatives have brought tangible business gains for the success of their companies and Malaysia’s economy.
