Tealive wins at Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2026 for intelligent lifecycle engagement engine
It has attained a 3.6x boost in cart and menu abandonment recoveries and a 43% increase in quarterly repeat purchase rate through the engine.
Tea beverage chain Tealive took home the Digital - Food & Beverage category win at the Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2026 for transforming its customer engagement by creating a smart, automated lifecycle system that brought its in-store hospitality experience into its mobile app.
In partnership with marketing technology company Netcore, Tealive has implemented an end-to-end, real-time journey framework powered by behavioural triggers and contextual personalisation.
Key touchpoints such as menu abandonment, cart recovery, app reinstall journeys, and time-bound welcome incentives have been connected into a unified lifecycle engine, shifting engagement from reactive messaging to predictive, intent-driven automation.
In just three months, Tealive has achieved a 40% increase in first-time app launch conversions, a 3.6× improvement in recovering abandoned carts and menu sessions, as well as a 43% growth in quarterly repeat purchases. It has also strengthened customer loyalty, improved purchase frequency, and established a scalable digital growth foundation across regions.
“The flexible architecture enables continuous experimentation, rapid optimisation, and seamless scalability across markets, ensuring the brand’s digital experience evolves alongside customer behaviour and growth ambitions," the company said.
