In recognition of these key players, the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ proudly presents the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2025, celebrating remarkable achievements within the industry.
The awards programme highlights innovation and excellence, recognising exceptional projects that are technologically advancing the field of broadcasting. Now in its third year, it honours groundbreaking innovations and initiatives shaping the industry’s future, particularly in digitalisation and engineering.
One of the winners from last year’s awards programme is Media Prima Audio for showcasing its DJ AiNa, an AI-driven radio personality, which clinched the Radio Studios - Malaysia category.
"First and foremost, this recognition would not happen without AI. So thank you Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards for giving us this honour to get this first-ever AI DJ award for AiNA,” said Shah Hayatudin, Group Network Director of Media Prima Audio. “I'm deeply grateful for this opportunity on behalf of Fly FM and Media Prima Audio. We definitely couldn't have done this without the team, bringing cutting-edge technology together with basic radio programming and coming up with real magic for our fans on air. In all parts, who would have thought algorithms and AI have great taste in music.”
