PTT Exploration and Production receives accolade at Asian Management Excellence Awards 2025

The company has enhanced DE&I culture by organising Sabaijai Day, KM Week 2024, and the “One Team, One Goal” workshop.

Thailand’s national petroleum exploration and production company PTT Exploration and Production brought home the Thailand Diversity and Inclusion Initiative of the Year - Oil & Gas category win at the highly sought-after Asian Management Excellence Awards 2025 for its success in enhancing the company’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) culture through the organisation of several events.

Amongst these events is Sabaijai Day, which was introduced to encourage DE&I amongst employees in Bangkok. The events offer a variety of activities, such as exclusive talks featuring psychologists, psychotherapists, and psychiatrists.

Additionally, there are panel discussions with senior executives, painting workshops, music therapy sessions, family-friendly movie nights where employees could bring their children, and a Zen gardening session held in honour of Mother’s Day with employees and their parents.

The primary goals of these activities are to help employees manage their work-related stress, create a sense of belonging within the company, and provide them with insights to better understand and support colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

PTTEP has also ensured that all employees from overseas assets are treated equally and given the same opportunities as those working at the corporation. During its KM Week 2024 in Bangkok, several multicultural teams consisting of overseas employees collaborating with local Thai employees have been given several recognitions, highlighting the company’s culture of knowledge sharing across its global operations.

The company has also launched the “One Team, One Goal” workshop to engage employees across various work locations. The workshops, done through interactive learning activities, focus on enhancing communication, building relationships, and improving team performance. They are designed to create collaboration amongst employees from all company assets.

“One Team, One Goal” has been launched in Malaysia and has expanded to Myanmar in 2024.

“These initiatives highlight PTTEP’s dedication to enhancing DE&I. This ongoing effort aligns with PTTEP’s vision of becoming the energy partner of choice through competitive performance and innovation for long-term value creation. To achieve this, it is essential that everyone in the company, regardless of their location, nationality, or skill set, work together as one team with one goal,” the company said.
