Under his leadership, Pantavanij has become a leading platform for large corporate buyers, with 60,000 user accounts across 21 countries, connecting sellers from about 30,000 companies in 41 countries across 31 categories. The company also generates an average purchasing volume of THB200b annually from over three million purchase orders. This extensive network reflects Srikreephuthana’s vision of a comprehensive global procurement ecosystem.
In the past year, the managing director has also aimed to address inefficiencies in traditional procurement methods by transitioning from offline processes to a robust electronic procurement system. This ambitious initiative has involved digitising 23 years of procurement data and leveraging advanced artificial intelligence (AI) tailored for the sector.
One significant impact of this transformation is the enhanced collaboration between buyers and sellers on a single platform. The reduced cross-platform process complexity has enabled sourcing time to decrease from two weeks to merely 30 minutes. At the same time, Pantavanij effectively cuts costs related to multiple service providers, resulting in procurement cost reductions of up to 50% for buyers.
Meanwhile, Srikreephuthana has also fostered a collaborative environment amongst procurement units that focusses on data sharing and consolidation for AI-driven analysis. The main objective of this effort is to enhance cost-reduction strategies at the group level, with the company serving as the central hub for real-time cloud-based data collection, ensuring flexibility and data security.
He has also led the launch of “S360 - Supplier Due Diligence,” a solution aimed at evaluating and onboarding suppliers meeting international standards. Pantavanij has also established a centralised vendor evaluation repository to increase buyers’ confidence to work with verified suppliers, as well as mitigate risk by allowing certified suppliers to become preferred partners, thereby increasing opportunities for growing their business.
Srikreephuthana’s impact on Pantavanij has set benchmarks for efficiency, sustainability, and ethical practices in the industry.
