Milwaukee’s zero-emission light equipment recognised for excellence in the Middle East International Business Awards 2022

The tool brand continues to revolutionise the skilled trades industry with its efficient and powerful tool technology.

Exposure to emissions, vibration, and noise continues to create prevalent health concerns for professionals in the construction industry. Around 39% of global CO2 emissions are attributed to building and construction.

For greener, safer, and more productive job sites, Milwaukee has launched the MX Fuel equipment, a cordless range system that delivers the performance, runtime, and durability demanded by the trades without the hazards associated with emissions, excessive noise, vibration, and the frustrations of petrol maintenance.

The elimination of fumes and emissions with this new platform allows the user to improve their carbon footprint as well as improve health and safety, as harmful fumes, noise, and vibrations associated with the running of this light equipment are eliminated.

As a result, this increases productivity as it allows users to work indoors, in trenches, in tunnels, or even in mines, without any petrol headaches. This new system not only saves the end user time refuelling and starting up, but it also saves money on gasoline consumption and engine maintenance.

The cost of running battery-powered equipment is a lot cheaper than the cost of running petrol-powered equipment, in the same way that an electric vehicle is cheaper to run than a hybrid car, no matter where you are in the world.

In March 2022, Milwaukee also partnered with Tree-Nation to empower customers to offset their CO2 emissions. The tool company will plant 100 trees in a certified forest in Madagascar every time an end-user purchases a product from its MX FUEL range across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asian regions.

The cordless revolution is just beginning for the light equipment market. Continued investments in cordless technology are now unlocking the capability to eliminate emissions and reduce the noise, vibration, petrol maintenance, and overall risks associated with current petrol and power corded light equipment—profoundly impacting the end user’s safety and productivity.

For reducing onsite emissions and carbon footprint, Milwaukee Tool MEA snags an award for Machining and Tooling category at the Middle East International Business Awards 2022.

The award program aims to celebrate the achievements and recognise the contributions of outstanding foreign firms to the Middle East economy.
