Cnergyico Pk Limited wins health and wellness honour at Asian Management Excellence Awards 2026

The company was recognised for a structured employee wellbeing programme that addressed physical, emotional, and organistional health across its workforce.

Cnergyico Pk Limited received an accolade in the Pakistan Health and Wellness Initiative of the Year - Oil & Gas category at the Asian Management Excellence Awards 2026 for its CnergyCare Model, a structured framework that formalised employee wellbeing across multiple dimensions. The recognition reflected the scope, consistency, and documented outcomes of a company-wide programme that addressed employee health, engagement, and workplace participation within the oil and gas sector.

Under the model, Cnergyico Pk Limited organised employee wellbeing around eight defined dimensions: emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual wellness. Emotional wellness initiatives included Emotional and Stress Mastery sessions conducted in January 2025, which addressed emotional intelligence, stress management, resilience, and self-awareness. These sessions provided employees with structured tools to manage workplace pressure and supported the development of individual wellbeing practices aligned with operational roles.

Across environmental wellness, the company carried out values inculcation sessions through the Culture We Live programme, alongside operational preparedness activities such as oil spill drills, beach cleaning initiatives, and plantation drives at the refinery and adjacent areas. These initiatives strengthened environmental awareness, reinforced site readiness, and supported accountability for environmental impact within daily operations.

Cnergyico Pk Limited also introduced education assistance schemes, EMI-based car facilities, wellbeing allowances, and employee discounts on motor gasoline and lubricants. These measures focused on practical financial support and access to structured benefits that addressed recurring employee financial needs without reliance on ad hoc assistance.

Within intellectual and occupational wellness, the company implemented skills certification programmes, facilitated participation in conferences and training programmes, and launched an internal podcast series featuring senior leadership discussions. Role clarity and growth frameworks, a buddy programme, and structured job rotation opportunities supported onboarding, internal mobility, and career development across departments.

Physical wellness initiatives at Cnergyico Pk Limited included health camps, wellness retreats, breast cancer awareness sessions, hygiene access programmes, and early detection screenings. Social and spiritual wellness activities comprised cultural events, community engagement initiatives, values workshops, and faith-based gatherings that supported participation, reflection, and workplace cohesion.

From an outcomes perspective, Cnergyico Pk Limited recorded an overall engagement score of 82.9, exceeding the industry score of 74.2 and the benchmark score of 79.4. The company also achieved an employee net promoter score of +56, compared with the industry score of +24. These results demonstrated the measurable impact of a structured and consistently applied employee health and wellness framework.
