Baiduri Bank clinches Asian Management Excellence Awards 2025 for employee wellbeing initiatives

It has achieved outstanding results in record engagement scores that surpass global benchmarks, robust talent mobility, and innovative initiatives.

Financial services company Baiduri Bank received the Brunei Employee Engagement of the Year - Banking category title at the prestigious Asian Management Excellence Awards 2025 for successfully implementing significant changes to support employee wellbeing and work-life balance.

Amongst the changes it has made was on the reduction in the working hours for both the branches and for back-office staff. These adjustments reflect the bank’s focus on encouraging a healthier work-life balance.

Moreover, Baiduri Bank’s flagship Employee Wellness Initiative (EWI) exemplifies its ongoing commitment to enhancing employee value proposition by creating a nurturing environment where every team member can thrive. Recognising that wellness extends beyond physical health, the EWI is founded on four pillars: mental, emotional, spiritual, and financial health.
