Aurionpro Solutions wins India Technology Excellence Award for Digital - Technology at the Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2022

Its automatic fare collection system provides an end-to-end solution for customers to pay for their transport services.

Technology products company Aurionpro Solutions bagged the India Technology Excellence Award for Digital -  Technology award at the recently held Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2022 for its initiative to digitise the transport industry through its automatic fare collection (AFC) systems. 

The AFC system consists of commissioning an end-to-end public transit fare collection system for a national integrated ferry ticketing system, which will be further extended to bus ticketing systems and other modes of transport.

It also includes an onboard validator supporting EMV bank cards, QR code-based ticket issued from a mobile app and a web reservation portal. It also has inspection terminals and ticket issuance machines at ferry terminals. The solution also deployed Central Backoffice, Mobility Apps, and a Reservation Portal, amongst others.

The next-generation AFC system provides an end-to-end solution for commuters to pay for transport services. The proposed fare collection system has been supported by multiple media types, including smart cards and smartphones. Fare media will serve as a credential for back-office accounts.

The project mainly highlights its outstanding features such as Product Configuration Management, Transaction Management, System Configuration Management, Equipment Management, Reconciliation, Banking Payments, and MIS Reporting, which have been deployed across locations.
