AIA Philippines wins two awards at Asian Management Excellence Awards 2026

The company earns regional recognition for building a people-focused workplace culture.

AIA Philippines received top honours at the Asian Management Excellence Awards 2026, securing wins in Philippines Employee Engagement of the Year - Life Insurance and Philippines Health and Wellness Initiative of the Year - Life Insurance.

At the heart of the recognition is a company-wide employee engagement strategy rolled out from 2023 to 2025, guided by the principles of clarity, courage, and humanity. AIA Philippines won the Philippines Employee Engagement of the Year - Life Insurance for its integrated approach to engagement, which brings together wellbeing, learning, leadership, and inclusion under a single employee experience. Programmes such as Work Well, Grow@AIA, the AIA Lead Series, and employee communities focused on inclusion and belonging supported this strategy and shaped how employees work, grow, and connect.

The company recorded strong participation across its internal initiatives, with more than 90% of employees taking part in major engagement programmes. Employee advocacy also improved, with the internal eNPS score rising from 84% in October 2024 to 96% in October 2025, reflecting higher levels of trust, pride, and connection across the organisation.

Alongside engagement, AIA Philippines also won the Philippines Health and Wellness Initiative of the Year - Life Insurance for its employee wellness ecosystem anchored on AIA Rethink Healthy, AIA Flex, and AIA Vitality for Employees. Introduced in early 2025, these initiatives focused on practical behaviour change, personalised health support, and flexibility across different life stages. Employees gained access to wellness education, activity-based challenges, flexible benefits choices, and rewards tied to healthier daily habits.

The programmes supported measurable improvements in employee health and resilience. Data from internal assessments showed that 71% of employees increased daily physical activity, 54% improved eating habits, and 68% reported reduced stress after taking part in wellness activities. AIA Philippines also stands as the only life insurer in the Philippines that provides an end-to-end health and medical protection solution not just to customers but to employees as well.
