Converge grabs ICT - Telecommunications category at the 2021 Asian Technology Excellence Awards

Its Time of Day solution allows consumers to experience double their internet bandwidth at their preferred preset period.

Telecommunications service provider Converge ICT Solutions, Inc. bagged the Philippines Technology Excellence Award for ICT - Telecommunications, at the Asian Technology Excellence Awards, the most prestigious award recognising Asia’s leading companies in technological innovation. Putting in the spotlight the exceptional companies that continue to lead technological revolutions and digital transformation. Behind this accolade are Converge’s flexible plans, Time of Day launched in Q1 of 2021.

Converge’s offerings always factor in customer centricity, truly understanding the needs in order to provide a solution to stay committed to defying the status quo. Continuously innovating to create disruptive, first-in-the-market products that are unique to Filipinos, incomparable to competitor offerings in the Philippines.

With digitalisation paving the way for a more diverse lifestyle and business operation, Converge subscribers can select a preset time to experience double their subscribed bandwidth during their most productive time of day. Double the speed without double the fee. Time of Day (either Day or Night Plan) offers maximum productivity for consumers from 7:00 AM - 6:59 PM for the former, and 7:00 PM - 6:59 AM for the latter. Businesses that operate during regular office hours can avail FlexiBiz Daytime for twice the speed during the day, FlexiBiz Peak for those working around the clock for 24/7 high-speed connection, and Dedicated Internet Access - Time of Day for enterprises for double speeds either day or night.

The need for a preset period comes as having a reliable and consistent internet connection has become more essential to support the thriving e-commerce, work-from-home arrangements, streaming activities, remote learning, and automated services across the globe.

Keeping in mind that each customer has their peak periods, a specific time they rely on internet connection more heavily, leaving their off-peak hours at low consumption. Gone are the days when ISPs would only offer fixed bandwidth throughout the day and the need to upgrade to expensive plans only to maximise them at their peak hours whilst paying double the price.

“We take pride in our Time of Day products for their unique and flexible features, and we are honored to have this recognised by the prestigious Technology Excellence Awards of Asian Business Review. Recognitions such as this play a big role in motivating us to continuously innovate by listening to our customers and creating solutions that adhere to their everyday needs,” Converge COO, Jesus “Boboy” Romero shared.
