Ajman Government Media Office wins at Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2026
The Media Hub platform unifies government media operations, cutting request turnaround by 35% across the emirate.
Ajman Government Media Office has been recognised at the prestigious Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2026, receiving the award in the Digital Transformation - United Arab Emirates category for its pioneering “Media Hub” platform — a fully integrated digital ecosystem developed in-house to redefine and modernise government media operations across the Emirate of Ajman.
Developed entirely by the Ajman Government Media Office, the “Media Hub” platform centralises media requests, news production, approvals, publishing, archiving, and distribution into one unified digital workflow serving government entities, media teams, and external partners across the emirate.
The platform replaced fragmented communication channels and manual processes with an integrated operating environment that streamlines media coordination, enhances governance, and improves operational responsiveness. It also incorporates AI-powered translation capabilities supporting Arabic, English, and additional languages to ensure faster, more accessible, and efficient government communication.
The Media Hub enables government entities to manage media coverage requests, photography, videography, official presentations, content approvals, and publishing operations through a single platform supported by real-time tracking, role-based access controls, and integrated reporting dashboards.
Since its launch, the platform has been adopted by more than 20 government entities and has processed over 300 media requests and more than 500 media assets and news items. The initiative contributed to reducing media request turnaround times by 35% and increasing content delivery speed by 30%, whilst enhancing transparency and operational visibility across participating entities.
Commenting on the achievement, Mohammed AlKaabi said: “This recognition reflects Ajman Government Media Office’s commitment to building a future-ready government media ecosystem driven by innovation, integration, and digital excellence. The Media Hub is not merely a technical platform; it is a strategic media infrastructure that enables unified government communication, enhances institutional agility, and strengthens Ajman’s position as a leading model for smart media transformation in the region.”
He added: “The platform embodies the ambitions of Ajman Vision 2030 by investing in digital capabilities, improving government efficiency, and creating a connected media environment that empowers entities to deliver impactful and timely communication to the public.”
