VNPT Media Corporation – a member of VNPT Group – recognised at Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2026
It developed solutions that automated post-production workflows and enabled scalable television service deployment.
VNPT Media Corporation – a Member of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) received accolades in the End-to-End IPTV Solution - Vietnam and OTT and IPTV Program Automation - Vietnam categories at the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2026. The recognition highlighted its efforts in delivering television services for B2B customers, alongside the application of AI technologies to automate key post-production processes integrated within both IPTV and OTT television solutions.
The End-to-End IPTV Solution - Vietnam accolade centred on the MyTV Hospitality platform, designed for use across hotels, luxury residential complexes, hospitals, and corporate environments. It combined a cloud-based infrastructure with a centralised management system that allowed operators to manage television services, content, and interface configurations across multiple locations. Integration with property management systems enabled functions such as personalised welcome screens, billing information display, and multilingual interfaces on in-room televisions. The platform also supported multiple deployment models, including multicast, unicast OTT, and hybrid configurations, allowing compatibility with different network environments.
The OTT and IPTV Program Automation - Vietnam project focused on the MyTV AI for Content Production suite, which automated key post-production processes. These included content moderation, subtitle generation, dubbing, and highlight creation within a single processing pipeline. The system addressed delays associated with manual workflows in content ingestion, localisation, and promotion, reducing turnaround time for content availability.
Technologies applied within the system included generative AI, computer vision, and natural language processing. The AI Smart Filter component analysed video content frame-by-frame to detect policy violations such as violence, explicit material, and restricted imagery. Subtitle and dubbing functions generated time-synchronised captions and local-language audio tracks, enabling faster localisation of international content. The highlight generation feature identified key moments within videos and produced short-form clips suited for digital distribution formats.
Operational results included a 40% reduction in post-production man-hours, a 35% improvement in content time-to-market, and a 32% increase in engagement linked to AI-generated highlights. These outcomes reflected changes in production efficiency and content accessibility across broadcast and streaming services.
The combined implementation of IPTV,OTT infrastructures, and automated content workflows reflected an approach that integrated service delivery with content production. The system supported both operational requirements and evolving viewing formats through a unified platform.
