Contact lens and solutions market on track to reach $38b by 2032

This will be driven by the prevalence of vision disorders and lifestyle shifts.

The global contact lenses and solutions market is projected to reach US$38.09b by 2032, expanding at a compound annual growth rate of 5.47%, according to a Vyansa Intelligence report.

According to the report, it is driven by the increasing prevalence of vision disorders along with growing preference for convenient and aesthetic vision correction solutions.

By product type, contact lenses accounted for the majority (80%) of the market in 2025, due to their widespread application across vision correction, cosmetic enhancement, and treatments.

By material type, silicone hydrogel lenses lead the market (65%), attributed to oxygen permeability, enhanced moisture retention, and improved wearer comfort.

However, the report noted that factors such as cost, maintenance requirements, and the growing accessibility of long-term surgical solutions may impact demand.
