First MINISO LAND in Malaysia brings over 100 IPs

The store features 15 interactive zones.

Global lifestyle brand MINISO has opened its first MINISO LAND in Malaysia at Sunway Pyramid, Selangor.

The 1,700-square-meter store offers over 8,000 products, more than 70% of which are IP-themed merchandise.

The store features 15 interactive zones, including character installations like giant pajama Stitch figures and a Snoopy zone. Shoppers can explore home and lifestyle items, beauty and skincare products, toys, and exclusive IP collections from Sanrio, Monchhichi, and first-time IPs in Malaysia, including Pac-Man and MINISO’s YOYO Cupid Ring series.

MINISO LAND brings together one of Malaysia’s broadest IP selections, featuring global icons like Sanrio and Monchhichi, alongside regional favorites.

Several IPs make their Malaysian debut at this location, including retro-style Pac-Man, whilst MINISO’s proprietary IP lineup, such as the YOYO Cupid Ring series, is also introduced here for the first time. Ten YOYO character sculptures are displayed throughout the store, creating immersive photo opportunities for fans.

In total, over 100 IPs form a multi-category ecosystem, encouraging shoppers to discover, collect, and interact with characters in one destination.

The opening was celebrated with the debut of MINISO’s Gift Bear and Friends mascots in Malaysia.


Guests also enjoyed themed activations, exclusive check-ins, and launch-day perks, while the “What Is Your Favorite IP in MINISO LAND” campaign sparked online engagement across RedNote, Instagram, and TikTok.
