Yuchu Zhang
As Group R&D Leader for Cargill, Yuchu Zhang leads a team specialising in category applications and product development using a deep understanding of ingredient functionality, customer needs, and market trends, as well as strong culinary skills in food manufacturing and service.
Yuchu first joined Cargill in 2020 and is now the Vice President & Group R&D Leader for Cargill Food Group APAC. She holds a PhD in Food Science and Nutrition from The Ohio State University and also has an M.Sc. in Food Production Management.
