Global medical cameras market to be valued at $5.2b

Thanks to medical imaging developments and rising government investments.

The global medical cameras market is projected to reach $5.2b by 2030, at a compound annual growth rate of 7.1%, according to Research and Markets.

The sector’s expansion is driven by developments in medical imaging, the increased demand for high-quality diagnostic and surgical imaging, and rising government investments in research and development.

“As healthcare providers modernise their facilities, the need for advanced medical cameras in diagnostic imaging, telehealth, and remote consultations is increasing,” the report said.

Moreover, the growing prevalence of chronic diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and diabetes has further increased the demand for medical imaging solutions.

In addition, an ageing population and a rise in surgical procedures have fuelled the need for high-definition medical cameras.
