INFOMEDIA introduces unique value proposition to large-scale recruitment process

RBB 2022 targetted to fill 2,700 job positions and attract over a million applicants.

Rekrutmen Bersama BUMN (RBB), which is Indonesia’s state-owned enterprises (SOE)’s massive recruitment process, had an important role in filling about 2,700 job positions and attracting as high as 1.5 million applicants.

The work for RBB 2022 included the provision of end-to-end recruitment services that consisted of developing platforms, providing reliable infrastructure, creating employee value propositions, selection tools, and managing operations.

Given these overwhelming tasks, INFOMEDIA utilised its HumanVue system to automate the recruitment process, wherein automation and AI systems take place to improve the recruitment journey of candidates. This comes amidst the fact that the SOEs in Indonesia have more than one million employees nationwide, with 65% of those being millennial employees.

Some of the enhancements done for the RBB process included an optical character recognition-based RPA implementation to speed up candidate screening and shortlisting process, and an AI technology implementation risk mitigation against cheating and fraud in the online selection test processes.

Moreover, it included an integrated online interview platform to simplify interview selection process through the provision of full documents of candidate, interview form, and consolidation room with video communication links so users are able to collect data and process interview results real time.

Candidates can also have an optimal experience with the process through the provision of an applicant journey dashboard that ensures that the entire selection process is carried out fairly and transparently. The candidate demographic information on the management dashboard as well provided insights regarding talent equalisation and women empowerment programmes in Indonesia.

The success of Indonesia SOE ministry’s massive recruitment and the approaches it has introduced to manage this well has been lauded by the Asian Technology Excellence for its ability to make SOE ready for future success. INFOMEDIA bagged the Indonesia Technology Excellence Award for Automation - Outsourcing category win for this achievement.
