PR1MA recognised for excellence at Malaysia National Business Awards 2025

The corporation was lauded for its dedication to providing high-quality, affordable housing for middle-income Malaysians.

Since its inception in 2012 under the PR1MA Act, PR1MA Corporation Malaysia (PR1MA) has revolutionised the country’s housing landscape by providing affordable, high-quality homes for the middle-income group. Its projects, which focus on delivering exceptional value to homebuyers, are designed to meet urban living needs whilst promoting homeownership at great value.

To date, PR1MA has developed 88 projects comprising 54,340 units nationwide at various stages of development, with a Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM15.4b. It has completed over 41,000 units, and 22,133 units have been moved in by homeowners.

Beyond providing homes, the corporation actively nurtures vibrant and inclusive communities amongst its residents. Through strategic partnerships with government agencies and non-governmental organisations, PR1MA has launched programmes that foster environments where people can thrive, build connections, and enhance their overall quality of life.

These initiatives include community-building activities, health and wellness programmes, safety training, sustainability efforts, and festive events which promote familial and community bonding within PR1MA neighbourhoods across Malaysia.

Looking ahead, PR1MA commitment to excellence is further reflected in its forward-thinking approach to sustainable development. It plans to deliver more than 24,000 units of affordable homes for the Rakyat in the next three years, continuing to meet the growing demand for quality housing whilst maintaining high standards of liveability.

With a strong emphasis on environmental, social, and governance principles, PR1MA integrates sustainable building practices, energy-efficient designs, and eco-friendly materials into its developments. Additionally, smart home features are incorporated to enhance convenience, security, and energy optimisation to ensure a holistic living experience for homeowners.

These major accomplishments have earned PR1MA the Excellence Award - Real Estate category at the Malaysia National Business Awards 2025.
