Krungsri Auto wins Thailand Technology Excellence Awards 2024 for automotive ecosystem

It provides an exceptional online experience that integrates various automotive finances and lifestyles into one platform.

Automotive finance bank Krungsri Auto wins Thailand Technology Excellence Award 2024 in the Digital - Banking category for developing a comprehensive automotive ecosystem with the launch of its “GO by Krungsri Auto Application”, a car user lifestyle application.

GO by Krungsri Auto is an all-in-one application where users can seamlessly access a wide range of add-on services, including auto loan, insurance, and lifestyle hub. It utilises Amazon Web Services’ native cloud infrastructure for dynamic scaling and cost-efficiency through serverless architecture.

This configuration automatically adjusts resources to meet demand, leading to improved responsiveness. Combined with a microservices architecture based on domain-driven design principles, each microservice operates independently, enabling agile development, deployment, and scaling whilst reducing interdependencies and enhancing fault isolation.

GO by Krungsri Auto also integrates security practices throughout the software development lifecycle via automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform. It employs micro-frontends and a flexible technology stack, facilitating modular development, seamless integration, and automated testing to adapt to evolving market requirements with high quality and flexibility.

At the same time, GO by Krungsri Auto integrates designs to enhance the user experience in managing automotive finance, from decision-making to after-sale services. Its experience design focusses on three key areas: auto financial products, additional services for Krungsri Auto customers, and car user lifestyle.

As Thailand's top car enthusiast super app, GO by Krungsri Auto offers a wide array of auto financial products and lifestyle services. The mobile application has a total digital volume exceeding US$772m, with over 3.3 million accumulated downloads as of 2023. Its monthly active users in 2023 also increased further to a million users, a 29.87% uptick from its previous record.

GO by Krungsri Auto remains committed to continuously improving and enhancing its platform in order to serve the daily lives of automobile users.

“Our advanced technology and customer-centric approach positioned us as the preferred choice for a comprehensive automobile solution. The key aspect of creating this mobile application is integrating technology with design,” the company said.
