PT Endress+Hauser Indonesia wins two major awards for electronic manufacturing at the Asian Experience Awards 2023
The company shines with a double victory, winning top awards for employee experience and service excellence.
PT Endress+Hauser Indonesia (E+H Indonesia) has been awarded not one but two prestigious titles at the Asian Experience Awards 2023 in the Electronic Manufacturing category: Indonesia Employee Experience of the Year - Electronic Manufacturing for their groundbreaking initiative "Becoming A Strengths-Based Organization and Indonesia Service Experience of the Year - Electronic Manufacturing" for their implementation of "Field Service Lightning (FSL)."
The Asian Experience Awards recognise the ingenious initiatives of creative companies delivering meaningful brand experiences to their stakeholders.
In an age where employees are the heartbeat of an organisation, their experiences and contributions significantly impact its overall success. PT Endress+Hauser Indonesia recognised this truth and embarked on a transformative journey in 2019, embracing the Gallup Strengths Finder concept to become a strengths-based organisation.
This innovative approach focuses on identifying and harnessing the unique strengths of each employee rather than dwelling on their weaknesses. E+H Indonesia's strengths-based approach includes ongoing coaching and workshops for employees, encouraging them to apply their strengths in their daily roles. This not only boosts morale but also aligns individual strengths with organisational objectives, leading to increased productivity and innovation.
As a result, the company has experienced astounding double-digit growth and robust profitability. Even during the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, sales increased by an impressive 21%. Year-to-date sales in 2023 are currently on a remarkable upward trajectory, with an increase of 25%. The employee engagement index has also witnessed substantial growth, surpassing that of its peers in Southeast Asia.
E+H Indonesia's commitment to employee well-being and innovation led HR Asia from Singapore to recognise them as one of the best places to work in Indonesia in July 2023.
Furthermore, the implementation of Field Service Lightning (FSL) has revolutionised E+H Indonesia's service delivery. FSL, a comprehensive platform, integrates service processes, asset management, knowledge databases, and more into a single, mobile-accessible solution. This initiative has enabled the company to provide seamless customer experiences, improve technician efficiency, and enhance overall service transparency.
One of the unique aspects of FSL is its accessibility and connectivity, allowing technicians to access critical information wherever they are, ensuring faster service reports and calibration report generation for customers. This transformation has not only streamlined service processes but also significantly improved the overall customer experience.
Since its full operation in January 2021, FSL has significantly shortened the processes of work order creation, reporting, tool management, service contract management, and generating calibration certificates, ultimately improving the customer experience with E+H services.
FSL has revolutionised the entire service execution process, fundamentally changing the way services are delivered to customers. It has resulted in faster service report and calibration report generation, contributing to a more positive customer experience with E+H services.
E+H Indonesia's FSL implementation demonstrates its adaptability to evolving business environments and processes. The digitalisation of service processes has proven invaluable during challenging times, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, enabling remote collaboration and enhancing the efficiency of service operations.
