The most expensive claims paid for New Zealanders' pets include traumatic injuries, cancer, and fractures, Southern Cross Pet Insurance revealed.
The insurer also unveiled that it paid out a total of AU$29.95m in claims in 2023, with some claims in excess of AU$10,000. Presently, the country estimates that there are 4.35 million pets.
