Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2022 are now open for nominations

Deadline for entries is on 24 June 2022.

It is undeniable that Asia has made remarkable leaps in technology recently. In the last decade, the region has contributed about 52% of global growth in tech-company revenues, 43% of startup funding, 51% of spending on research and development, and 87% of patents filed, according to Mckinsey’s research.

To recognise various organisations that have initiated outstanding technology-based innovations, Asian Business Review has announced that nominations for the Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2022 are now being accepted.

Now in its second year, the awards programme is open to companies from all industries with an office in Asia. Specifically, it will accept entries from technology companies that have pioneered ground-breaking IT products and solutions as well as companies from diverse industries whose highly innovative technology initiatives made an impact on their own business.

“We would like to thank Asian Business Review’s Technology Excellence Awards for recognising our innovative offering, Time of Day. It has been the focus of Converge to become the market leader in the high speed fixed broadband market, offering superior and differentiated products as well as exceptional service at the best possible price in the market. We will continue investing and expanding our network so we can serve more Filipino households and enterprises in the coming years,” said Jesus "Boboy" Romero, Chief Operating Officer at Converge ICT Solutions. The firm was recognised with the Philippines Technology Excellence Award for ICT - Telecommunications at the 2021 Technology Excellence Awards.

One winner per tech category – from AI to cybersecurity, data centre, and web services, amongst others - for each country will be awarded. The entries will be judged on its uniqueness and innovation, effectiveness and impact, and dynamism by a prestigious panel of judges consisting of technology industry leaders from the big four accounting firms.

The awards will be given on a country-level basis as part of the umbrella Technology Excellence Awards programme with separate local runs in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and the Middle East. Companies with offices in Asia outside of these regions make up the Asian Technology Excellence Awards.

Nomination is free of charge. Deadline for submission of entries is on 24 June 2022.
