ROSHN clinches two wins at Middle East Management Excellence Awards 2024

It has streamlined sales operations and successfully implemented transformative initiatives under the visionary leadership of Jason Margetts, Group Chief Sales Officer and its Sales Capabilities team.

ROSHN Group, a leading real estate developer, received two distinguished accolades at the prestigious Middle East Management Excellence Awards 2024. The awards recognised the outstanding open-door leadership advocacy of Jason Margetts, the Group Chief Sales Officer, as well as the exemplary performance of the Sales Capabilities Team.

Mr Margetts has led an efficient team to ensure the early handover of the first phase of its residential integrated community project SEDRA. His vision has also helped the company launch three additional community development projects this year.

These projects include ALDANAH in Dammam, which brings over 2,500 homes to the market in multiple phases; and ALMANAR in Mecca, which adds 733 homes to the region.

Under his guidance, ROSHN has also become one of the first developers in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to secure the ISO 9001 Quality Management certification, ISO 10001, ISO 10002, ISO 10003, and ISO 10004. He has also pioneered a groundbreaking function, becoming the first developer in the GCC to obtain the complete ISO portfolio. ROSHN is the first Saudi developer to attain the prestigious Building Information Management Kitemark from the British Standards Institute.

Meanwhile, the company’s Sales Capabilities team, under Mr Margetts’ leadership has established an efficient, centralised, and systematic Sales Onboarding Programme, which functions as an ecosystem meticulously crafted to empower the sales force, facilitating a seamless transition into their roles whilst swiftly integrating them into the job requirements and company culture.

The team has developed Sales Process Manuals for property advisors, sales operations specialists, handover specialists and managers, which are designed to anticipate and address the standard of operations. By providing structured responses and strategies for managing their roles, the manuals effectively reduce the likelihood of rejections and significantly enhance customer satisfaction and overall experience.

It has also created the “Sales Guidebook” a mission guide, designed specifically to revolutionise digital learning and offer centralised access to employees by streamlining sales operations with an innovative solution.

To incentivise the Sales Team to surpass their sales targets, the Sales Capabilities Team has introduced the Legends Club. This initiative offers compelling rewards, including international holiday trips, to motivate and recognise the achievements of high-performing sales advisors. Currently, ROSHN has awarded seven advisors with this privilege.

Under the directive of the Chief Sales Officer and in alignment with the sales team's mission to standardise Sales Process delivery across Sales Centres, they have launched the Health Check Programme. This initiative involves comprehensive observation and mentorship for ROSHN property advisors, aimed at refining their sales skills and ensuring a smooth and seamless sales experience for their customers.

Mr Margett's exemplary leadership was honoured at the Middle East Management Excellence Awards 2024, being named the Saudi Arabia Executive of the Year - Real Estate, whilst the Sales Capabilities Team under his leadership, won the Saudi Arabia Team of the Year - Real Estate.
