Be recognised as one of the top Malaysian companies at the Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards, National Business Awards, and International Business Awards

Deadline of submission of entries is on 3 March 2023.

Malaysia continues to recover from the impacts of various economic challenges it has recently faced, which includes the Russia-Ukraine war and other geopolitical tensions, global inflation, high commodity prices, and the pandemic, amongst others. As a measure, the country reopened its borders earlier this year with the goal of reviving and accelerating its economy.

With improvements already underway, businesses are now challenged to operate and innovate in the new normal. They are now urged to apply their learnings and adjustments from the lockdown woes into their operations, including the adoption of new technologies and safety protocols. Nevertheless, exemplary businesses have already made efforts on this end as a form of assistance to the government. They have pioneered solutions and services that are aimed towards the country’s improvement.

These companies deserve to be recognised for their remarkable efforts and innovations. As such, Asian Business Review launches several awards programmes that aim to spotlight promising Malaysian businesses: the Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards, Malaysia National Business Awards, and the Malaysia International Business Awards.

The Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards recognises exceptional companies who are riding the disruption wave and are leading the technological revolution and digital journeys of their respective industries to boost Malaysia’s fast-growing economy.

Meanwhile, the Malaysia National Business Awards honour exceptional local businesses in Malaysia and acknowledge their contributions to Southeast Asian economies, whilst the Malaysia International Business Awards gives recognition to the most outstanding initiatives of international firms in Malaysia.

“We are extremely proud of the award and greatly honoured by the recognition with this achievement. We will continue our efforts to create and develop valuable tools to bring enormous benefit to our customers for them to enjoy a unique and joyful banking experience with UOB,” said Loo Yeok Bee, Executive Director & Head of Secured Loans at United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd. The company was reconised with the Fintech - Banking award at the Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2022.

Nomination is free and will be judged based on uniqueness and innovation, success and impact, and dynamism in the Malaysian economy. The winners in all the awards programmes will be determined by a distinguished panel of experts.

Submission of entries is ongoing, with a deadline set on 3 March 2023. Winners will be announced through an awards dinner on 9 May 2023. For more information, visit the event webpage or contact Danica Avila at [email protected] or +65 3158 1386.
