The Asian Telecommunications Awards

The Asian Telecommunications Awards traces its heritage from Asian Mobile News started in 2003. The awards programme will recognise the remarkable achievements and initiatives of Asia's leading telecom companies. 

Nominations are now open to telco companies that stand out and were able to navigate their way despite various challenges in the market whilst providing relevant and award-winning products and services to their clients.

Guidelines

GUIDELINES

  • Nomination is open to telecom companies from all industries in Asia.

  • The entries will be deliberated by a panel of  telecom industry experts from the region’s top accounting firms based on the judging criteria. 

  • Nomination is free of charge. If your company wins, you are obliged to proceed booking the winner's package to maximize the promotional benefits exclusive to winning companies. To know more about the pricing and entitlements, please email [email protected]

ELIGIBILITY

The awards programme is on the lookout for outstanding initiatives of telecom companies in Asia such as projects, products, services, strategies, campaigns, or case studies that were either:

• launched, in part or full, over the last 24 calendar months

• launched prior to 24 calendar months and had any recent improvements or upgrades

There will be a Country Winner for each category, except for the CEO of the Year, which will have only one winner in Asia.

For categories under CARRIER AWARDS (One winner from each country):

  • Achievements - What are the remarkable milestones that the company recently achieved?
  • Challenges & Solutions - What are the biggest challenges that the company encountered and what solutions were implemented to overcome these challenges?
  • Innovation - What are the unique and innovative initiatives that the company introduced to substantially boost the company's business?

For categories under CUSTOMER INITIATIVE, TECHNOLOGY AWARDS and OPERATION EXCELLENCE AWARDS (One winner from each country):

  • Uniqueness & Innovation - What new idea or cutting-edge innovation did the project introduce?
  • Effectiveness & Impact - Did the project achieve its objectives and targets? What measures have been used to assess its success? What was the impact to your company and industry?
  • Dynamism - Is the strategy, project, service or product flexible to changes and progressive opportunities?

For the CEO OF THE YEAR category (Only one winner in Asia):

  • Achievements - What remarkable milestones did the company achieve under the CEO's leadership?
  • Challenges & Solutions - What are the biggest challenges that the CEO encountered in moving the company forward? What solutions were implemented to overcome these challenges?
  • Innovation - What are the unique and innovative initiatives that the CEO introduced to substantially boost the company's business?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I nominate?

1. Go to the online nomination form and read the nomination guidelines.

2. Fill in the required details about the company and contact person for the nomination.

3. Select your category.

4. Provide your project title, 500-word write-up, client feedback (if any), key achievements, and photos of the project that you are nominating.

5. Wait for the nomination confirmation email and acknowledge it once received.

Note:
- Companies may submit up to three (3) entries.
- Each nomination form is valid for one entry only. Fill out the form again if you will nominate another project or in another category.
- Photos are required while supporting documents are optional but will highly increase the chances of winning.
- Nomination is free of charge. If you win, you are obliged to proceed booking your chosen winner’s package option. Email [email protected] for more details on Winners Package Pricing and Entitlements. 
- The deadline for submission of entries is on 7 January 2022
 

How many winners per category?

  • There will only be one winner per industry category on each country ie. "Mobile Telecom Company of the Year - Singapore", "Mobile Telecom Company of the Year - Hong Kong", etc.
  • There will only be one winner of CEO of the Year award as this is a regional award.

Can I nominate for more than 1 category?

Yes, each company can nominate for a maximum of 3 categories. 

Can I send two or more entries for one category?

Yes, you can nominate for a maximum of two entries for a category. If you are nominating several projects, please enter each entry separately.

Will there be an awards dinner this year?

We do understand the current situation with COVID-19. Rest assured that our priority remains that of our guest and their safety. So our team will be doing an online awards presentation and video interview through Zoom video-conferencing. Further details will be communicated to the winners upon announcement.
