NCS Pte Ltd wins at Asian Experience Awards 2026 for employee experience strategy
The company created a persona-based framework anchored in its BIG People Experience framework to drive employee engagement and support career growth.
NCS Pte Ltd won Singapore Employee Experience of the Year - IT Services in the Asian Experience Awards 2026.
The leading AI technology services firm developed its BIG People Experience framework to drive business performance and retain talent across its workforce. Built around the core pillars of Belonging, Impact, and Growth (BIG), the initiative addresses employee needs by mapping the workforce into five employee life stage personas and identifying key workplace milestones.
To bring BIG to life, NCS structured its strategy around five pillars: company-led (employee engagement programmes), wellness-led (holistic employee wellbeing), lifecycle-led (career and life milestones), leaders-led (people managers focus), and geographic unit-led (regional inclusivity).
The company-led pillar strengthens belonging through shared moments, including global townhalls, festive celebrations, Unity Games (company-wide games) throughout the year. The wellness-led pillar focuses on the H.E.A.R.T. framework (Health Wise, Eat Well, Active Lifestyle, Resilient Mind, Thrive Financially), supported by a comprehensive Wellness Partnership Ecosystem connecting employees with trusted providers.
The lifecycle-led pillar supports employees at every career stage. NCS Dojo, NCS’s learning team, enables and grows a collaborative learning ecosystem by providing a wide range of resources to its people, from in-person, hybrid, and online training to industry-relevant courses and certifications. Early career graduates access fully sponsored and bond-free work-study programmes such as Nucleus, Fusion, and Ignite, which support educational progression from technical certifications to postgraduate degrees, whilst working full-time with NCS. Employees can explore new internal roles through platforms like Aglow (internal marketplace), BIG marketplace (cross-entity marketplace), and NOMAD (remote work programme). Furthermore, employee-led People Networks support diverse needs: Parents with Young Kids, Women in NCS, Caregivers, and Early-Career professionals.
Leadership enablement programmes and structured communication packs support people managers in driving culture within teams under the leaders-led pillar, whilst the geographic unit-led pillar ensures regional teams across Asia Pacific receive locally relevant support and inclusive programming. In addition, continuous listening mechanisms, including the annual Your Voice Survey, regular pulse surveys, CEO dialogues, interactive voting walls, and the CEO feedback channel, ensure the voices of its employees drive actions within the company.
By designing employee experiences around real people at real moments, NCS has positioned the BIG People Experience framework as a strategy that delivers lasting value for their employees and the organisation.
